When I visited Portland back in September, I spent quite a bit of time with A and her pittie Athena. I knew as soon as I met A that I had made a friend for life. She’s funny, sweet, generous, loves pitties, and is crazy talented in the crafting department! Between her doggy tutus and collar flowers, I’ve been bugging her to open up an online shop forevsies. After receiving a huge response from her bow-of-the-month giveaway, she’s finally taken the plunge… introducing Little Bow Pup!

Just do yourself a favor and go like the Little Bow Pup Facebook page…. you can thank me when you get to see photos of the beautiful Athena modeling the LBP wares!

Er.Mah.Gerrrrrrrrd, right? A was sweet enough to send me a flower and two bow ties to try out…including this Quilted Owl bow tie modeled by our latest houseguest (who will be introduced tomorrow).

Okay seriously, why are you still reading this post?! Go check out Little Bow Pup and then leave a comment here and tell me which bow-tie (or flower) is your favorite!

Love the bow tie on the new foster! Love his ears too!!
Our little family is all about the beach and pirates. Was so excited to see the above pics!!!
I always wondered when she would do this as she is so talented!
Hmmm, thinking the plain pink and green would be a good replacement for Pooh’s. That girl has worn out the flower she won from you.
I love the sugar skull one! I’m so glad she’s set up shop!
I just ordered the Pirate model. If you’ve ever seen the Facebook page Bruised Not Broken — they post “at risk” pit bulls in the New York City shelter system every night — you may have seen the occasions when they’ll put a little bow tie on some of the pits…
I really think this helps them get adopted. It helps people connect with their personalities, and remember their faces and their eyes — and it certainly helps them get comments!
I can’t wait to get the Pirate and send it to Carol, who takes so many of those “at risk” photos for Bruised Not Broken. She’ll love it, and so will the homeless pups that she advocates for. Thank you SO MUCH for posting this info, guys — and for the wonderful artists at Little Bow Pup. :0)
We luuuuurve the pirate bow tie!!
Those are so great! I love all the pretty flowers, seems like they’d be great for making a pup look all sweet and adoptable! I will consider them as a nice accessory for my scrappy little (black pittie) foster pup…Of course I think she’s beautiful, but a little sprucing up may help other people to see it
Beautiful! Love the details…she is a master seamstress!
