I’ve been coveting the Sirius Republic snoods I’ve been seeing all over the blog-o-sphere lately. I mean, how could you not love these stinking snoods?

I mean, who wouldn’t want their dog to be stylin’ like Corbin, Zoe, or Mr. B and Ms. M? So imagine how excited I was for Turk and Rufus’ very own Sirius Republic snoods to arrive all the way from California! When he first tried it on, Turk was a bit worried that the snood made his ears look big. I didn’t have the heart to tell him his ears always look big!

Rufus is still wearing his Comfy Cone (aka “snood-o-shame”), so he isn’t quite able to wear his new snood yet. Turk believes his snood is a sign of solidarity with his cone brother. Rufus doesn’t quite see it that way, but he appreciates the sentiment.

I love how the snood sort of looks like a Burberry scarf and I love how it makes Turk (and soon, Rufus) look like a big city dog. We got so many looks and compliments when I took him out to run errands with me – with the chilly winter we’re having in Kansas City we’re going to get a lot of use out of it!
It will definitely come in handy when we get our next foster – we’re all about using any means necessary to get our foster dogs noticed! So if you follow me on instagram (@ourwaldobungie), be prepared for lots of snood pictures in the coming days because I am officially obsessed. I mean, can you blame me?

Now the real question though is would I look like too much of a crazy dog lady if I asked Jen from Sirius Republic to make a matching snood for me? Just kidding….or am I? Any other snood-obsessed dog parents out there? Please tell me I’m not alone in my addiction!

Ok, confession time. When Ray and I went shopping on his birthday, he was wearing his Sirius Republic collar and bow tie which everyone loved. When we returned home my hubby, who didn’t see us leave, took one look at me and said, are you wearing that shirt so that you match what Ray is wearing? Busted! (He knows me so well.)
With all that being said, I think you totally deserve a matching snood. Or a Burberry scarf.
That. is. awesome, Debra! I am pretty sure Daniel would mock me endlessly….
OMG your boys are adorable and the cone photo is my absolute fave! I got my boys snoods but it has been too warm, until this weekend! We broke those things out and I am now obsessed and ordering more!
What, Tracey? YOU? Ordering more of the things for your pups? Shocking….
You have the most spoiled pups EVAH!
I love them! It makes me wish our boys didn’t have built in snoods already!
Sam
I would totally have to ask for a matching snood! I mean seriously, do you know how freaking cute that would be?
Well now that everyone is saying I should I just might have to!
Those snoods are totally adorable. I’ve been meaning to make one for Koira.
Ok, that picture of Turkey wearing his snood and Rufus in the background wearing his cone is HILARIOUS!!!!!!! Poor Rufus! I hope he can get to wearing his new snood very soon!
I love how Turk’s snood really accentuates his large ears
I think we may need to look into getting Athena a snood in the near future….!
Athena totes needs a snood. For real!
You know you want a matching snood… go for it! And, that photo of Turk and Rufus? Too cute!
First of all, thank you (!!!!!) for the shout out today!
I love Zoe’s snood (and we’ve even been using it with her cone!). Secondly, that photo of Turk with Rufus in the background in his cone makes me laugh every time I look at it! And finally, Kevin keeps teasing me about how I should get a matching snood. Maybe I ail!!!
If YOU do it, and Amy does it, it won’t seem so weird that I do it… sooooo… DO IT!
They look so debonair! By chance, we actually have scarfs that look very similar to our pups’ snoods. Comments do ensue.
Like…good comments or bad comments?
I don’t know if it’s because I live in AZ but I have yet to catch on the snood train. I feel like these pictures are making a very convincing argument, however…
Emily – your dogs need the snoods! It gets cold on Arizona nights…right?
Aw Turk, all cozy wearing his snood. You look so handsome! Love your snood =)
They look awesome!!! Those Sirius Republic products are just the best!
That cone photo is equal parts hilarious, and sad, and more hilarious. Love the snood of shame. I too have been coveting a SR snood, I really need to get one! The dogs’ poor necks are so cold without one!
Miss Emily, those snoods do look so cozy! Mr. Turk looks quite debonair in his, and I’m sure Mr. Rufus will love his too! And I think matching mommy/doggie snoods are a pawesome idea! And I really like to say the word “snood”, too! SNOOD! BOL!
Luvs,
Jackie
Snood IS a funny word. Sometimes I just say it over and over again when I am bored. Ha!
I freakin’ LOVE this!
