Wow! I learned so much about you all with this survey … let’s get to the results (if you only care about the giveaway, feel free to skip ahead, but I promise, the survey results are pretty fun too!)… Not surprisingly, this blog tends to be a big ladypants party, with a whopping 96% of readers being female.

The highest percentage of readers are in the 30-39 age group (32%) with 26-29 year olds coming in a close second (26%). 19-25 year olds and 40-49 year olds made up 12% and 15% respectively, and those 50 and up pulling in 14%. 1% of you thought your age was none of my business – and I totally respect that! As far as relationships are concerned, most of you are in a relationship of some kind, with 65% of you either married, engaged, or in a domestic partnership. Several of you fell into the “other” category, bemoaning being in a long-term relationship with a dude/lady who is dragging his/her feet… isn’t it that Beyonce says: “if you like it then you better put a ring on it?” Hop to it, dudes (or ladies)!

I was proud to see that the highest percentage of readers come from my state of Missouri, with Kansas, Illinois, and California in a tie for second place. There are several states that I haven’t captured any readers, but mark my wooooooords… just kidding. It’s totally cool. What really got me excited what to see the people who read the blog outside of the U.S., in countries like Haiti (hi Josh!), Australia, Canada, and Israel! Nearly half of you (45%) live in a city, while the other half (43%) live in the ‘burbs. 13% of you live in the country and NONE OF YOU live on a private island! Dang, now where are Daniel and I supposed to vacation when it gets really cold?

I wasn’t shocked to see that most of you own a dog (89%), but I was a bit shocked to see that many of you own multiple different pets, including cats, birds, reptiles, turtles, fish, goats, chickens, ducks, and horses. Our Waldo Bungie readers really do love all of God’s creatures, huh?

I was intrigued to see that the majority of you (43%) have been reading our blog for less than a year – and to those of you I say “welcome!” How did you find us? For those of you who have been around since the beginning, thanks for putting up with me for so long! Your badge of honor should be coming in the mail any day now!

My favorite part of the survey was seeing how many of you write blogs of your own – 38%! Some of you have blogs I already knew about, but many were new to me, so I will be sneaking a peek at each and every one of you this weekend! Alright…now on to our blogiversary GIVEAWAY!

It’s no secret around here that I luuuuuuuuuuurve Sirius Republic collars and accessories! I did a little calculating, and since discovering Sirius Republic one year ago, I have purchased 10 collars, two flowers, and two bow-ties. Can you say obsessed? But seriously, can you blame me? They are super durable and oh-so-stylish! I am constantly stopped when out on walks with our dogs by people exclaiming “where did you get that collar?!” It got so ridiculously that I finally begged Sirius Republic owner Jen to send me some business cards so I could quit saying “Sirius – like Sirius Black from Harry Potter – S-I-R-I-U-S.” And of course, I have followed in the footsteps of my friend Aleks at Love and a Six-Foot Leash by sending off each foster to their new home with a Sirius Republic collar.

I are also pretty obsessed with Tiennot Knits Sweaters. Now, I know that might seem a little weird since it’s my mom’s business, but I can’t help it! I lurve my mama’s dog sweaters. She has a knack for choosing great colors and her sweaters fit my dogs per. fect. ly. It’s stupid how perfect they fit! And they are adorbs. It’s true. Dogs in sweaters = adorable. And you guys must like them a lot too because the Tiennot Knits Facebook page got up to 300 likes in ONE WEEKEND! It’s taken me almost a year to cultivate 600 likes on our blog’s Facebook page. Yep. My mom is more popular than me. I’ve had to accept that. I’d be popular too if I could knit.
