Lincoln Square – Chicago

April 19th, 2010 | Posted by Emily in Bungie on the Road | Spring Flowers

So I’m back from Chicago and had an amazing time! Chicago in the springtime is so beautiful!

On Sunday, Joanna and I met her roommate Rachel for a tasty brunch in Lincoln Square at Jack Rabbit, but before, Jo & I wandered around the neighborhood enjoying the beautiful weather and surveying all the cute houses!

Lincoln Square was so pretty! I loved all the brightly colored trees and flowers – everything was pretty understated (with the exception of the massive lion sculptures) and it made me excited to come home and work on our porch – posts coming soon!

  • Oh, this is my old neighborhood! My dog Miss M and I were bachelorettes here before moving across town to live with E. It’s such a dog friendly neighborhood, and Miss M and I used to practice meeting people in the square to prepare for her Canine Good Citizen test.

I loved this neighborhood! Plus, it was amazing to me how many pit bulls we saw! It made me start to seriously think about Chicago as an option for us to move after I am done with grad school because the Kansas City metro isn’t very pit-friendly! Love your blog, by the way! :)
